Matt Kalil Files Lawsuit Against Ex-Wife Haley Kalil Over Livestream Comments

Former NFL player Matt Kalil is taking legal action against his ex-wife, TikTok creator Haley Kalil, following remarks she made during a November 2025 livestream that he claims have caused lasting personal and family harm.

What Did Haley Say on the Livestream?

During an appearance on Marlon Garcia’s Mar-Athon livestream, Haley spoke about her past marriage in graphic terms.

At one point during the stream, the influencer reportedly compared Matt’s genital size to “two Coke cans, maybe even a third,” and suggested the issue was an ongoing strain throughout their relationship. “Deada**… for our whole marriage,” she alleged, adding that they even went to therapy and tried to get medical advice in an effort to resolve the situation. She also claimed their intimate times they shared together left her “in tears.”

What Does Matt’s Lawsuit Allege?

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Matt alleges the livestream ignited widespread public attention that crossed into harassment

He claims the comments led to “unwanted attention and invasive commentary” as the statements repeatedly circulated online in what he describes as a humiliating and degrading way.

Matt wed his current wife, Keilani Asmus, in 2024. The couple shares a one-year-old son.

In the filing, Matt writes that his wife has received messages that are “increasingly frequent, disturbing, and alarming in nature” which he says is directly related to the online drama from Haley’s livestream remarks.

Haley Responds to the Lawsuit

Haley responded to the lawsuit in a statement shared with TMZ Sports on January 6, saying she was “genuinely shocked and incredibly hurt” by Matt’s decision to pursue legal action. “Litigation is a harrowing and emotionally draining experience, and I am heartbroken that he is choosing to subject us and our families to this ordeal,” she said.

While Haley did not specifically take back the remarks she said, she emphasized that during the same livestream she spoke positively about her ex on multiple occasions, including referring to him as the “greatest guy in the world.”

In a January 2024 video posted to her YouTube channel, Haley reflected on the end of their marriage, describing it as a decision rooted in immaturity rather than conflict.

“Because my ex and I were so young we had absolutely no idea what being married was like, what being in love was like or what both of us needed from a marriage,” she said. “And even though we were best friends, marriage was hard.”

She went on to explain that their split was amicable. “Eventually years later we decided to just stay friends so we ended up getting a divorce,” she said. “Thankfully because we were friends, the divorce was really easy. There wasn’t any fighting, there wasn’t any arguing. Even while we were getting divorced, we continued just to hang out as friends, because at the end of the day we are friends.”

The former pair got married in 2015 and divorced in 2022 citing “irreconcilable differences”.
