Ray J Was Arrested in November 2025
TMZ reported that Ray J was booked into a Los Angeles jail and was charged with making a criminal threat on November 27. He was released that same day after he paid his bail, which was set at $50,000, according to the outlet.

Ray J’s rep did not immediately respond to Life & Style’s request for comment.
Ray J’s Arrest Came After He Got Into a Fight With Princess Love on a Livestream
The heated argument between Jay J and Love took place on a livestream, which was reshared via social media. Footage of the incident appeared to show a heated argument between the exes, in which Ray J accused Love and others of wanting to “drive drunk.”
“Drive drunk, Princess,” Ray J said before Love appeared on camera as she held their daughter.
Love responded by claiming, “Ray, you just pointed a gun.”
“Drive drunk, Princess. Go ‘head. You wanna take my kids? You and yo’ drunk cousin?” the “One Wish” singer fired back.
Ray J – whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr. – went on to call Love and her cousins “alcoholics.” He then asked who would drive when they leave, and Love responded, “I’m not driving! You just pointed a gun at us.” However, Ray J maintained his innocence by saying, “I didn’t point nothing at y’all.”
He went on to ask Love why she woke up their daughter, and she said, “All I wanted to do was have a good Thanksgiving.”
As the altercation continued, Love accused Ray J of being “a woman abuser.”
“I called the police,” she told him later on in the livestream, in which he responded, “I’ll shoot the f**king police.”
While it’s not clear why the incident was being livestream, TMZ reported that Ray J began the video by saying he was having “the worst Thanksgiving in the f**king world.”

The outlet also went on to report that Ray J appeared to have a gun at one point in the video. “If these n****s step foot close to this door I’m going to blow this f**king s**t away, bro,” he reportedly said.
How Long Were Ray J and Princess Love Married?
The former couple got married in 2016, while Love filed for divorce for the fourth time in February 2024. Their divorce has not yet been finalized.
Ray J and Love share two kids together: Melody Love, 7, and son Epik Ray, 5.
