Will Smith Supports Jordyn Woods Amid Scandal: ‘I Got You and We Got You’
That’s what family is for! Jordyn Woods is in the middle of a huge scandal after Tristan Thompson cheated on Khloé Kardashian with her. She appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Red Table Talk to tell her side of things. It turns out, Will Smith is on her team and gave her his full support.
The Instagram model admitted to her honorary uncle that she didn’t think she’d be “coming to the table like this, but it’s the best place to be.” The famous actor assured her, “Listen, that table has mythological cleansing and healing powers.” He also added that he “would’ve loved to be there” to lend his support during her tell-all interview.
“I had a deep sense that we would be here one day and what I want to say to you is: This world attacks. It just happens. You’ll never get around the world attacking. But what I want you to know is that you are supported and I got you and we got you,” the 50-year-old sweetly said.
As far as his bit of “fatherly advice,” he had even more wise words to share. “Take your medicine and tell your truth. This is a part of what growing up is. This is a part of what learning is. A part of what family is.”
No matter what happens between the Kardashian family and Jordyn, she will always have the Smith family. “This world is not going to break you, we won’t allow it” the I Am Legend icon guaranteed to his close family friend via video chat.
Jordyn’s dad worked on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air for the entire duration of the show, which is how he got so close to Will. Because of this friendship, Jordyn and Jaden Smith were raised side-by-side, and still remain close friends. Sadly, her dad passed away from cancer in January 2017 but she is still extremely close with their family.
Scandal or no scandal, the starlet will be A-OK.
