Maksim Chmerkovskiy may be heating up the dance floor on this season's Dancing With the Stars, but his personal life is even hotter. Life & Style can reveal that there's a new woman in Maksim's life. And he finally stepped out with her at the FIJI Water Presents NIKKI & RICH event at the Puma Social Club in Los Angeles on Oct. 27.
"Her name is Joni Kilmurry," a source tells Life & Style. "She's a stylist and a pretty girl."
According to Joni's MySpace page, the former model turned stylist is 28 years old and states on her website that she has worked internationally in the fashion industry for more than 10 years. But it must be pretty tough for his fellow dancing instructor Karina Smirnoff to stand. Just two years ago, Maksim and Karina began dating, and six months later, on Dec. 31, 2008, the two announced their engagement. The romance ended just after nine months.
