Country music‘s biggest stars are turning out for the 2024 ACM Awards, and while some brought out seriously eye-catching red carpet looks, others missed the style mark.

The event is being held on Thursday, May 16, at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Reba McEntire is hosting the event for the 17th time.

Fans were eager to see what performer and Entertainer of the Year nominee Lainey Wilson would wear, after elevating her bell bottom look in so many super stylish ways at other awards shows. Other fashionable stars who will be performing include Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert and Gwen Stefani, who will be joining husband Blake Shelton. The big question is, who will come away as the best and worst dressed?

Miranda Lambert – Best

One of Miranda’s best looks ever. The “Kerosene” singer wowed in a black open-front gown with a high thigh slit. She was also on-point with the night’s turquoise theme, using the stone in a silver belt with matching earrings. That smile showed she knew she looked amazing!

This ripped black sweatshirt and flared pants combo literally looked like it had been eaten by moths with the random holes in it.

Kelsea Ballerini – Best

After a rare red carpet misstep with her awful floral Met Gala dress, Kelsea was back to her sleek style in a backless gold satin gown with an elegant train.

Gwen Stefani – Worst

Her brown jacked adorned in different types of bird feathers looked a little too much like a hunting trophy. However, Gwen’s pantless look did show off her long legs in fishnet stockings nicely.

Thomas Rhett – Best

The “Make Me Wanna” singer showed how to class up denim in a three-piece suit with a turquoise bolero tie. That’s country cool!

The “Country’s Cool Again” singer wowed in one of her best looks ever, pairing her trademark bell bottoms with a matching red jacket with glittering lapels while going braless underneath.

Reba McEntire – Worst

The show’s host wore a little bit of everything with her red carpet look, including an oversized sequin jacket, lace leggings with a fringe flair and a chunky turquoise necklace. The outfit needed some serious editing.
