Two years ago, Miranda Lambert was still processing her feelings after her divorce from Blake Shelton. Today, the country singer is finally ready to talk about her marriage to Blake and she is not holding back.

Sources told Life & Style exclusively that Miranda, 33, is lashing out in an explosive new interview, telling all including how she was feeling stifled by her life with her ex. So, why is the blonde beauty opening up now?

“Blake blindsided her with the divorce and drove her out of their home,” an insider revealed. “It hurt her badly and profoundly changed her outlook on life.” And she put that new perspective into her album The Weight of These Wings, which has gone platinum.

According to Miranda, she wrote 70 songs dealing with the demise of their four-year marriage — and she had a lot to write about. Making the painful situation worse, “she was painted as the villain,” the insider shared, “and a lot of their friends in the industry took his side.”

In an interview with Billboard, she confirmed her latest album was about Blake and it helped her find happiness again. “If you want to hear my side of the story or my opinion of what happened, it’s all on there. There’s no mystery anymore — take from it what you will,” she said. “I was like, ‘Let’s feel it all.’ I was ready to have the days where I can’t even stand up and the days where I’m celebrating.”

Even now, in a new relationship with fellow country singer Anderson East it still hurts to hear about Blake and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani all the time. But she does have something exciting to look forward to, as Anderson is reportedly looking to pop the question to Miranda soon.

“He’s crazy about Miranda and she’s so smitten with him as well. Their friends can definitely see them getting engaged in the near future,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that they make the perfect pair because of their shared interests. “They love to play music together, drink, have fun, and hang out.”
