Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Planning a Secret Marriage (EXCLUSIVE)
If there is anything Prince Harry learned from his mother Princess Diana, it’s that the key to a happy relationship is remaining as low-key as possible. Well, it seems the royal is doing just that when it comes to his girlfriend and soon-to-be bride Meghan Markle.
Sources reveal exclusively to Life & Style that while the royal couple has yet to announce their engagement, they are already busy planning a secret marriage! “Harry is adamant about having an
intimate ceremony with just his and Meghan’s closest friends and family,” says the source. The secret nuptials are perfect for the Suits actress and philanthropist, who “feels there’s too much excess in the world and would not want to waste money on a glamorous event.”
Meghan, 36, recently opened up for the first time about her relationship with Prince Harry, 32, and revealed she was head over heels for the British royal. “We’re two people who are really happy and in love. We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people’s perception,” she told Vanity Fair. “Nothing about me changed. I’m still the same person that I am, and I’ve never defined myself by my relationship.”
This wedding news also comes just as Kate Middleton announced she is expecting baby No. 3 with Prince William, which Life & Style first reported last week. And while the guest list might be short, Prince Harry will make sure his nephew and niece George, 4, and Charlotte, 2 play a role in the highly anticipated ceremony. “Whatever happens, Will and Kate will be involved, along with George and Charlotte,” says the friend. “Harry adores them all and wouldn’t plan anything without them.”
The source adds, “He and Meghan are so in love. They just want to get on with it.”
