Happy Jewelers Crafts Championship Rings for Mr. Olympia Winners

In a powerful blend of craftsmanship, culture, and commitment, Happy Jewelers, the family-owned jewelry store based in Fullerton, California, is designing and producing championship rings for Mr. Olympia, one of the world’s most well-known bodybuilding competitions.

Happy Jewelers

Founded by brothers Gabe and Danny Arik, Happy Jewelers has built a reputation for delivering world-class custom pieces while maintaining a deeply personal, red-carpet-like experience for every customer. Their work is taking center stage with individuals proudly wearing their designs around the world.

It began with a birthday gift for bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler.. “We just thought, what do you give the guy who’s won Mr. Olympia multiple times but never got a ring to show for it?” said Gabe. “So we designed and built a completely custom ring with the dates of his wins engraved inside. We wanted it to feel like a Super Bowl ring big, bold, and meaningful.”

That ring sparked more than admiration as it caught the attention of Mr. Olympia’s CEO and owner. Happy Jewelers continued by drafting championship rings for the winners of the Mr. Olympia title, and the result? A massive ring order, each engraved and detailed with symbols that capture the essence of bodybuilding, including the event’s logo and a muscular Greek-inspired figure holding a staff.

“This is the first time in the sport’s history that winners were recognized with something tangible like this,” said Danny. “It’s not an easy sport; it takes insane dedication. These athletes deserve something that honors that sacrifice.”

The customization process was collaborative. While the Happy Jewelers team led the design execution from initial sketches to CAD mockups, the Mr. Olympia team played a key role in shaping the final look. Attention to detail was of great importance. For example, the original staff in the ring’s side figure had to be redesigned for durability. “We don’t just make it look good, we make sure it lasts a lifetime,” said their lead designer.

“It’s surreal,” Danny admitted. “But what means the most to us is when a customer, whether it’s an athlete or someone buying their first chain, sees their piece for the first time and says, ‘Wow.’ That’s why we do it.”

From custom rings and jewelry to custom pendant moments, Happy Jewelers continues to redefine personalization in the jewelry world, one unforgettable creation at a time.
