Silva snatched! 90 Day Fiancé stars Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva returned to the franchise on the new spinoff, 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, where they give their opinions and commentary on all of the couples starring on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. But even though the twins have been busy working, they decided to take a little “me” time recently to undergo a twin transformation with Avana Plastic Surgery in Miami earlier this month. In their downtime from healing, Darcey and Stacey, 44, took the time to chat exclusively with Life & Style about their procedures and what inspired them to get a mommy makeover. Darcey and Stacey are both busy working mamas of two — Darcey has two daughters named Aniko and Aspen and Stacey has two sons named Mateo and Parker. They decided to undergo matching tummy tuck procedures to help them achieve their body goals.
“I started this journey for a mommy makeover and its an inner, outer transformation just to feel healthy and maintenance for my age,” Darcey exclusively revealed to Life & Style. “I am 44 and just loving and living life and just want to be at my best.”
“We just felt it was the perfect time,” Darcey continued. “We’ve gone through a transformation multiple times during our lives. I’ve had two daughters, I love an active lifestyle and I just thought it was the perfect time.”
And her twin agrees! “We’re both moms,” Stacey exclusively told Life & Style. “Although we do live an active lifestyle, we just wanted to help with the overall areas that the gym wouldn’t help with — such as the stomach area. I felt that the tummy tuck was the best route for us at this point in life and I feel great. Dr. Patrick Abuzeni was amazing and I’m feeling great. Better than ever.”
They explained that it just made sense for them to go on this plastic surgery journey together because they do everything together in life. They work together as fashion designers for their own brand, House of Eleven, and their family life is also intertwined so they wanted to do their tummy tucks together.
Darcey and Stacey both had the same outlook and the same concerns about their post-baby bodies, and they both opted for the tummy tuck because of the changes their bodies went through during pregnancy with their kids.
“For us, I feel like we didn’t really need to do the breasts. We just wanted a slim, trim, snatched waist,” Stacey explained. “And then we’re going to maintain it with a healthy active lifestyle and healthy eating and working out as well.”
As for the kiddos? Darcey and Stacey revealed that their children couldn’t be more supportive of their hot mamas.
“They’re actually really excited for us to go on this journey together, they know we do a lot of things together anyway,” Darcey explained, and Stacey added, “Yeah they’re happy to see our results. They gave us the thumbs up, way to go, mom! They’re very supportive children.”
Darcey also said that this new mommy makeover will give her the extra confidence boost she needs to put herself back out on the dating scene after her split from her ex-boyfriend, Jesse Meester.
“Well, first of all, you have to love yourself first and foremost,” Darcey said. “I just want to shine from the inside out as well and lead with positivity and if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be in life. I believe in the universe and when love is right, when it’s meant to be, it will happen. I’m not gonna rush anything, my heart is open, full of love and always ready for my soulmate! So I think having my new body would make me absolutely feel more fabulous and more confident and I’m on my way to greatness.”
“Actually he’s very very happy for me,” Stacey gushed. “I told him what I was gonna do and he’s very very supportive of me. He’s been calling, checking in on me. He’s prayed for me and all that stuff just for good wishes. He’s one hundred percent [about] whatever makes me happy. Yup, got lucky in the department!”
Stacey and Darcey have also chosen to be very transparent about their surgical procedure, and Stacey explained why it was important for them to share their journey.
“A lot of women our age feel possibly the way we feel and would love to have some sort of surgical procedure and were just being open and honest about it and hopefully that can inspire someone else,” Stacey said. “Whether its to take the first step, to start in the gym, to start to eat healthy. For us, it was doing the tummy tuck for our extra skin. So everybody has their own reason and to each their own.”
Meanwhile, Darcey agreed and also made it clear that she’s not going to let any negativity weigh her down.
“I just feel like people are going to make their comments anyway regardless. We’ve got nothing to hide. we’re happy in our lives people judge anyway. We embrace the positivity,” she said. “There’s really no shame in our game. we’re in our 40’s, feeling fabulous and loving life. And we decided to get in the skinny jeans and get Silva snatched.” Get it, girls!
