Rumors squashed? Kylie Jenner responded to Alex Rodriguez‘s claims that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians starlet talked about “how rich she is” during the 2019 Met Gala. “We had a great table. We had Kylie and Kendall [Jenner],” the former baseball player told Sports Illustrated in an interview published on Tuesday, June 25. “Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is.”

Apparently, something got lost in translation because the 21-year-old makeup mogul shut that right down. She retweeted an article about the quotes in question and wrote, “Ummm, no I didn’t. We only spoke about Game of Thrones.” Kylie added a shrugging and face slap emoji to drive home her annoyance. The 43-year-old meant no harm and quickly responded to the reality starlet, “OMG that’s right [Kylie Jenner]!! It was me talking about you and your makeup line and how much my girls love you.” The athlete wanted to clear the air and included “#respect” and “#alllove.”

Honestly, Kylie is very rich and we wouldn’t blame her if she was talking about her fat bank account. Just two months before the Met Gala in May, the lip kit maven was named the youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes. She surpassed Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who hit the milestone at 23.

Although her products are a hit, the mogul was still shocked about the huge success her company turned out to be. “I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,” she told the publication at the time. “But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.” Kylie has the highest net worth of all of her A-list siblings, which is extremely impressive.

She started her company in 2015 and, since then, has expanded to a skincare line called Kylie Skin. We have no doubt she has a lot more big things to come in the next few years.
