Congratulations are in order! This is not a drill: Amy Schumer is pregnant and expecting her very first child with her husband Chris Fischer. The comedian’s pal Jessica Yellin of News Not Noise announced the exciting news on behalf of her via Instagram Stories on Oct. 22.

“I wanted to share some news from our community, maybe it’s noise but it’s happy noise,” Jessica began her post. “So I’m not in the business of making voting recommendations, but these are the recommendations of Amy Schumer, one of the most consistent and earliest supporters of News Not Noise. Now read all the way to the bottom, you’ll see there’s some news down there. Congratulations, Amy.” At the end, she dropped the gem reading: “I’m pregnant-Amy Schumer.”

Fans couldn’t be more excited about the I Feel Pretty star’s baby news, which comes months after Amy tied the knot with Chris, 38, in a private ceremony in Malibu, CA, on Feb. 13, 2018. This summer, the comedian shared a photo on Instagram that hinted she may have a bun in the oven and fans immediately were sent into a frenzy. On July 12, Amy posted the snap of herself in a red dress, while cradling her tummy. “@leesaevansstyle and i are cookin something Up,” the star captioned the pictures. However, Amy put the pregnancy rumors to rest in a follow up video.

The Trainwreck actress, 37, previously appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for Ellen’s 60th birthday party and revealed her thoughts on expanding her family. “I have never wanted kids,” Amy said during the interview. “Then I saw myself as a baby on your show and I thought, ‘Who am I to deprive the world of such a beautiful baby?'” Now that it’s official, were so psyched for Amy and Chris. They are going to be the coolest parents!
