Angelina Jolie Looked Happier (and Healthier) Than Ever Surrounded By All Six of Her Kids!

It’s clear that Angelina Jolie is at her happiest when she’s surrounded by her children. Last year, the mom-of-six celebrated her directorial project on the red carpet with all of her kids. The Oscar-winning actress glowed as she posed for photos at the premiere of First They Killed My Father.

Wearing a strapless nude gown, Angelina, 42, was flanked by her brood — Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11, and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — who also smiled enthusiastically alongside their famous mom. Maddox was also on hand as the executive producer of the film, which centered around the Cambodian genocide. Angelina famously adopted her oldest son from the Southeast Asian country in 2002 when he was just seven months old.

“I didn’t feel a connection with any of them,” she told Vanity Fair of her visit to the orphanage. “They then said, ‘There’s one more baby.’ ” That was when she saw Maddox for the first time. “I cried and cried,” she added.

This is just one in a string of red carpet appearances by the usually private family. Noticeably absent is patriarch Brad Pitt — who is attempting to speed up his divorce from Angie. According to Life & Style, the actor is planning to file a bifurcation motion, despite the couple still not coming to terms on a custody agreement. “He wants to speed up the divorce,” an insider said. “Brad’s done waiting. The settlement negotiations have stalled, and Brad’s ready to move on with his life.”

Meanwhile, Angelina recently opened up about the family — and revealed they are still healing from the split. “They really help me so much. We’re really such a unit,” she told the New York Times. “They’re the best friends I’ve ever had. Nobody in my life has ever stood by me more.”

She continued, “None of it’s easy. It’s very, very difficult, a very painful situation, and I just want my family healthy.”
