Ariana Grande’s Anti-Valentine’s Day Nails Are Our Forever Mood — See the Snarky Design!
Look, she already told us she’s done with the dating scene. In fact, singer Ariana Grande even recently tweeted about exactly how done she really is with the whole thing. So when the 25-year-old got a little snarky on Instagram over a friend’s adorable Valentine’s Day manicure, there was no doubt in our minds that Ari’s still got beef with romance.
On February 8, the thank u, next songstress posted a vid of a friend’s adorable manicure to her Instagram Stories. TBH, we want her nail salon’s number, y’all. Ari’s pal Alexa’s neon nails were stacked with cute sayings like “I <3 You,” “Hug,” and “Yum.”
“Aww, so sick! Nice Valentine’s Day nails, Alexa, they’re so cute,” she can be heard saying in the vid.
But when the singer turned the camera to show off her own manicure, the message was pretty simple. Her pink nails were blank, with the exception of one lone nail that read “NAH.” LOL, we’re dying. Sounds like the Ari we know and love.
Back on January 1, Ariana addressed her dating life on Twitter and got real with fans and followers. “Spoiler for the rest of this year/probably my life: It’s no one,” she confessed about who she may or may not be dating. “Please refer back to this tweet for future questions.”
Honestly, we don’t exactly blame the girl for feeling so hesitant to get back into the world of romance. The last year or so has been pretty tumultuous for her on that front — between her breakup with Mac Miller, his subsequent overdose, and the demise of her engagement to Pete Davidson, she’s been through the wringer.
The only thing we can hope for one of our favorite stars is that time heals her myriad of wounds so she can find the peace she deserves — whether or not dating comes with that is up to her.
