The Bachelor star Ben Higgins, 27, was thrilled to meet his 26 ladies when filming began Sept. 24, but things haven’t gone as smoothly as expected.

Life & Style has learned that one of Ben’s potential ladies is … shall we say, not on the show for the right reasons? Olivia Caridi, 23, an aspiring broadcaster from Austin allegedly was in a serious relationship when she applied to be on the show, claiming she was single. The moment she got a call back from producers, she dumped him.

“She’s opportunistic, she’s fake and she’s only on The Bachelor for the fame,” the insider says.

And it gets worse. “Olivia’s been giving the impression to her castmates that she’s Christian like Ben, but I heard she’s an atheist,” the insider adds. “It’s just another ploy to get his attention!
