‘The Bachelor’ Rose Ceremony Is Paused When 2 Women Walk Off to Chat in Teaser Clip
The Bachelor rose ceremony doesn’t go according to plan on the latest episode, and a teaser clip reveals that two women walk off to chat during Grant Ellis’ elimination ceremony.
In a teaser clip for the Monday, February 24, episode shared by People, contestants Zoe McGrady and Alexe Godin admitted they were nervous during the rose ceremony at an estate in Edinburgh, Scotland.
“I am feeling anxious,” Zoe, 27, said in a confessional. “You know you wish that you had more time and maybe one more conversation.”
Alexe, 27, added, “This rose is so important because this signifies Like, who do I really see being my wife?”
As the women entered the room to begin the rose ceremony, Carolina Quixano admitted she may have taken things too far amid her drama with the other women. After admitting she was worried her issues with the other contestants may have negatively impacted her relationship with Grant, 31, Carolina, 29, told the cameras that “there’s a lot on the line tonight.”
“This is the most anxious I’ve felt going to any rose ceremony,” she continued. “The drama really got out of hand this week.”
Carolina added that there was “a conversation that I’m hoping to have” and she “would hate to have any negativity or any bad feelings.” She then stopped the Grant mid-ceremony to ask Dina Lupancu, “Can I grab you for a sec?”
While it’s currently unclear why Carolina pulled Dina, 32, aside during the rose ceremony, the public relationship producer has rubbed many of her fellow contestants the wrong way during recent episodes.
During the February 17 episode, Carolina butted heads with Juliana Pasquarosa after she complained about being selected for another group date. After Carolina admitted she wasn’t sure if she saw a future with Grant due to their lack of time together, several of the women slammed her and pointed out that she was one of the few contestants to get a one-on-one date.
Before the episode aired, Carolina clapped back at criticisms over her concerns regarding her relationship with Grant. “God forbid you’re not sure about a man you’ve been on one date with,” she wrote alongside a clip from the show via her Instagram Stories, which showed her being confronted by the other women.
In another teaser clip for the February 24 shared by Us Weekly, Carolina struggled to have fun during a group date.
“It’s definitely hard to see other people’s connections with Grant right in my face,” she complained in a confessional. “I don’t want to be asking for validation, and, ‘Please tell me that you want me here.’”
She was later seen sitting down at a table, where Grant and the other women on the date quickly noticed her bad mood.

“Carolina, like, could not show more disdain for being on this group date,” Dina told the cameras.
Grant asked Carolina what was wrong before they walked away to have a private conversation, which upset the other women. Sarafiena Watkins reaction, “I’m definitely a little annoyed. To have someone that’s so negative still getting time is definitely hard.”
“I’m not playing damsel in distress, so it didn’t make sense for him to pull me aside, right?” Zoe chimed in. “It’s the Carolina show, yet again.”
Fans can watch the drama play out during the February 24 episode of The Bachelor, which airs on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
