A lot can happen in a year. For Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin and her fiancé, Garrett Yrigoyen, their world has seriously changed over the last 365 days — the couple went from their first meetcute to an engagement basically right before our eyes. To celebrate the anniversary of the first time they laid eyes on one another, the 28-year-old took to Instagram to share a sweet sentiment for her beau.

“From the pool to the pier, so much has happened in [one] year,” she began her caption on a series of sweet pics with her 30-year-old man posted on March 15.

“@gy_yrigoyen, we have spent 365 days around the sun, and I can’t wait for thousands more to come,” she wrote. “Who would have thought that one soccer ball-smelling minivan and a single impression rose would change our lifetimes?”

“You had my heart since the very beginning, and I love and value you so much,” she continued. “Thank you for this past year, thank you for simply being you. Now let’s get a puppy for that minivan already!” Becca has been super vocal about wanting to be dog parents with her man, so they gotta make it happen — the Instagram pics would be too cute.

Garrett also made a post in honor of the occasion, but he went for a bit more wit than sentiment. “One year ago when I learned what the first impression rose was 😂🌹,” he captioned a photo of Becca pinning said rose onto his lapel. Now you know, bro.

The couple got engaged in August 2018 and have been happily gunning for the family life ever since. In fact, Becca told In Touch magazine that she and Garrett “want kids in the next couple of years.” But before the kids come, this duo has to actually tie the knot!

Could you imagine it happening anywhere more beautiful than Becca’s dream spot: a vineyard? “I’ve always pictured it to be at a vineyard just because I love wine and they’re so beautiful,” she said in an interview with YouTuber Go To Whitney. “We’ve talked about maybe doing it on a vineyard maybe in California.”
