It’s Not Over! Shauna Sexton Is Trying To ‘Convince’ Ben Affleck To ‘Give Things Another Shot’ (EXCLUSIVE)
She’s not going down without a fight! Despite the fact that Ben Affleck broke up with Shauna Sexton to focus on his family and sobriety, the 22-year-old Playboy pinup is dead set on getting back together with her A-list man.
“She refused to accept that it was over and she’s hoping to convince him to give things another shot,” a source exclusively revealed to Life & Style magazine. Does that make Shauna determined or is she just in serious denial? When Life & Style asked her about the pair’s split, Shauna insisted that reports were “not accurate.”
Sadly, her claims weren’t exactly, er, consistent with what sources close to the Justice League actor confirmed. “[Ben] realized that he was already in enough trouble with Jen and the kids — and decided to end his summer fling with Shauna” a source confessed.

The split was nothing personal, according to People. Ben just needs to focus on more important things than dating right now. “He enjoyed being with her but is working on himself, and being together with her at this time is not something that works,” an insider told the publication. “He will date in the future, but for now his focus is on his sobriety, family, and his next project.” But to be fair, Ben’s bestie Matt Damon couldn’t “stand” Shauna, and Jen pushed him to dump her as well.
Hmmm, it couldn’t have been easy for Ben to navigate his relationship with Shauna with both his BFF and ex-wife giving him a hard time. That said, we’re happy to hear that the 46-year-old cited his sobriety as his main focus. As of Oct. 4, Ben completed 40 days in an alcohol addiction treatment center. While he never expects the battle to end, he said that he’s going to keep fighting. Good for you, Ben!
