Get ready! The cast of VH1’s hit reality TV series Black Ink Crew is back tonight — and tonight’s two-hour Season 7 premiere is going to be jam-packed with drama, success, and growth. Speaking of growth, fans will get to watch Black Ink Crew star Sky grow in all aspects of her life from her career to her personal development! Life & Style caught up with Sky and she spilled all of the tea about what fans can expect from the upcoming season premiere. Check out the video above to watch Sky’s “Spilling the Tea” with Life & Style!
This season, Sky will be focusing on making money moves. Since Sky is the manager of her friend and co-star Ceaser’s Black Ink tattoo shops, she’ll undoubtedly be helping him as he prepares to open his new shop in New Orleans. But Sky will also be focusing on another new business venture — she’ll be opening her new clothing store Her Little Secret Boutique in Miami next month. But even though Sky exclusively revealed to Life & Style that she’s in her bag this season, she’s still the same old Sky and she’s still throwing shade — she’s just not as messy about it now.
“I am going to drink to spreading nothing but love and prosperity to them and [I’ll] throw shade mentally,” Sky told Life & Style. “I’m opening a boutique on Oct. 5, so instead of throwing shade, I just wanna put all my energy into growing my business.”
But even though Sky is focused on her new business, don’t expect her to leave the show anytime soon — and Life & Style learned that even if she did ever decide to leave, her friend Ceaser wouldn’t have it.
“We have a bond that we always answer each other’s calls,” Sky told Life & Style. “He knows I’m not that impulsive so he’d be like, ‘Sis, sit yo butt down and just think this through, you’re being implusive, let me talk to some people…’ — ’cause you know my brother is one of the [executive producers] on this show so you think he ain’t gonna pull some strings for the kid? String pulling!”
Be sure to catch up with Sky, Ceaser, and the rest of the Black Ink Crew on the Season 7 premiere, airing at Wednesday at 9 p.m. on VH1.
