Bonnie Blue Reportedly Detained in Bali After Promoting ‘Barely Legal’ Bus Tour
British adult performer Bonnie Blue has reportedly been detained in Bali after local authorities flagged her latest viral stunt — a so-called “BangBus” tour that allegedly involved filming adult content with “barely legal” young men on the island, according to The Sun.
The outlet reported that Blue, who had purchased a van in Bali to use for her OnlyFans content, was taken into custody on Friday and seen inside a local police station. Indonesian officials allegedly determined that her project violated the country’s strict anti-pornography laws, which prohibit producing, distributing, or publicly displaying explicit material. There is no suggestion that minors were involved.
Before her reported arrest, Blue had been documenting her travels around Bali’s nightlife hotspots and promoting the bus on social media. In one post, she wrote: “Hey boys, those that are going to Schoolies and to those who are barely legal, cannot wait to meet you and I’m in Bali, so you know exactly what that means.”
She also filmed herself driving the van with a group of young men in the back. When she asked one passenger if he had a message for his parents, he replied that he was being a “good boy” and just “living Bali life.”
This is far from Blue’s first brush with controversy. The Sun notes that just months ago, she staged a fake arrest in the U.K. and convinced many of her 700,000 Instagram followers it was real. She posted a video showing officers searching her beside a police car, accompanied by a caption — allegedly written by her sister — reading: “As you may have seen, Tia has been arrested. We still don’t have clarity on the situation but will keep you all in the loop as soon as we know. Thanks for all of the support in the last 24 hours. This isn’t something we wanted to get out but it seems there is no privacy for her anymore.”
A source told The Sun: “It’s all part of a stunt to gain notoriety.” The outlet reported that the vehicles were rented from a film-prop company and that the “police station” shown in the video was actually a community center used as a set.
Blue has long leaned into shock value. Earlier this year, she made headlines for another stunt where she claimed to have slept with more than 1,000 men in a single day. “A number I am very proud of,” she previously stated.
