Bristol Palin’s Husband Dakota Meyer Sparks Outrage With Pic of Gun Next to Baby Daughter
Bristol Palin‘s new husband Dakota Meyer shared a controversial photo on Instagram earlier this week of a gun lying next to his baby daughter Sailor.
The former Marine, who married Bristol last month, posted the pro-gun message in the midst of the Democratic National Convention.

“Carrying has always been important to me for my own safety but now it is imperative because now I have someone relaying on me,” the 28-year-old wrote. “Every day, everywhere I go, every time I carry and am honors (sic) to be using the Blood Stripe holster from @gcodeholsters.”
While a lot of followers praised him for protecting his family, plenty of others weren’t comfortable seeing a firearm so close to a seven-month-old.
Bristol has also been pushing her conservative views on fans in recent days, posing in a sweatshirt that reads “Pro Life, Pro God, Pro Gun.”
