Cara Delevingne Admits She and Ashley Benson ‘Weren’t Looking’ to Be in a Relationship: ‘It Was Natural’
Just because Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson have quickly become one of Hollywood’s hottest young couples, doesn’t mean that either A-lister actually intended for that to happen. In fact, the model-turned-actress, 27, admitted that her relationship with the former Pretty Little Liars star, 29, took them both by surprise.
“We weren’t looking for it,” Cara revealed in Marie Claire’s September Issue, on newsstands August 22. “It was really just very authentic and natural.” Of course, now that the pair’s romance is in the public eye, nobody would dare doubt the authenticity of their love. After all, have you seen photos of Ashley and Cara together? They look beyond smitten.
So smitten, in fact, that after a particularly loved-up trip to St. Tropez, engagement rumors began to swirl. If that weren’t exciting enough, less than a month later, Cara opened up about her feelings on lifelong commitment and if she were ready for it. “Oh my God, yes. I mean always. Love life,” she gushed while at the CTAM TCA Summer Press Tour for her new Amazon series, Carnival Row.
As it stands, the marriage speculation has died down a bit. However, fans of the stunning duo are still going strong on social media. Seriously, *everyone* ships Ashley and Cara going the distance. “I’m convinced Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne were made to be together because, I mean … look at THEM,” one person pointed out on Twitter.
To be honest, we don’t disagree, they are easily the most beautiful couple, like, EVER. “Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne are perfection together. That’s it. That’s the tweet,” added another. In conclusion: Now that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are dunzo, we need couples like Ashley and Cara to prove that love still exists.
