Multitasking, for the win! Carrie Underwood is currently traveling across the U.S. for her 60-date Cry Pretty tour but instead of flying solo, the country singer decided to take her husband, Mike Fisher, and two sons, Isaiah, 4, and Jacob, 8 months, along for the ride. 

“Carrie realized that instead of viewing touring as a grueling part of her job, she could make it a family vacation, where they all got to spend all this quality time together,” a source exclusively revealed to Life & Style magazine. “And Mike, who normally doesn’t like being on the road, loved the idea.”

When Carrie, 36, isn’t bringing down the house at sold-out shows, she and Mike, 39, “take little trips with the boys,” the insider gushed. “Mike loves being outdoors, fishing and hunting, so they recently went to Wyoming for a long weekend and had a great time.”

As for how the former NHL star and his longtime ladylove are handling road tripping with two kiddos under the age of five? Carrie admitted that traveling with her boys is “a big, wonderful mess.” However, the source insisted that the proud mama “wouldn’t have it any other way.”

How sweet! It sure sounds like Carrie and her family are creating memories that will last a lifetime. “She and Mike have never been happier,” the insider added. “Going on tour together actually strengthened their bond.”

On Tuesday, October 9, Carrie took to Instagram to share the most thoughtful anniversary message for her hubby. “11 years ago yesterday, I met the love of my life,” she captioned a loved-up selfie of the pair. “Patient, kind, the best dad, handsome, of course! Someone who accepts me and all my flaws. The same as me in many ways … opposite in some, but he is my match.”
