It’s never easy getting in shape — even more so after giving birth, but Carrie Underwood did just that. The country star had her second child, Jacob Bryan Fisher, in January, and she’s already bounced back and is looking great! Here’s how the 36-year-old did it.

“At first, she had a hard time juggling her new schedule, with a newborn, a new tour/rehearsals, and everything else in her life,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “But soon everything fell into place. She never wanted to steal family time to work out and would feel guilty, but she realized how important it was to her to make time for herself.”

Carrie was able to find a balance in which she was still able to work, spend time with her sons and better herself. “Carrie has been working hard on tour, working out daily in her mobile gym,” the insider continued. “Carrie feels her most confident and happy when she is physically fit, so it’s been a priority for her. She’s talked about her weight struggles before, how she has always been quite hard on herself.”

It looks like all that hard work paid off because in late May, the “Before He Cheats” crooner took to social media to show off her incredible abs in a bikini. “#TBT to the first Cali run on #CryPrettyTour360 — getting ready for summer! @CALIAbyCarrie #CALIASwimwear#StayThePath #Southbound,” the blonde beauty captioned a boomerang of herself wearing a black and white swimsuit.

Thankfully, the singer has a supportive hubby by her side. After she shared her progress, her beau, Mike Fisher, took to the comments section to gush over her by adding four heart-eye emojis. Aside from being her cheerleader, the 39-year-old happens to be very hands-on and helps her with the kids.

“Carrie and Mike have been working together so Carrie doesn’t feel like everything is falling on her shoulders,” the sourced revealed. “Mike’s been touring with her so the family has been all together, it’s actually the first time in years she’s been able to work and have the whole family together!”

We’re so happy for you, girl!
