You live, you learn, you get a sunburn. Newly married hunk Chris Pratt found that out the hard way — and decided to show the world so we could learn from his mistakes. The 40-year-old took to Instagram to show off his epic sunburn on June 29, the souvenir from his incredible honeymoon with Katherine Schwarzenegger.

“Suns out guns out,” the actor captioned a photo of his intensely red back and tan line on his (super white by comparison) butt. “I might have got a toouuuch crispy on the honeymoon.” He even added the hashtag “#Aloe,” so you know he was feeling the burn.

Honestly, the celeb comments on this post really killed it with the laughs. Guardians of the Galaxy costar Dave Bautista chimed in with, “But at least you’re lean AF!” while Gwyneth Paltrow decided to go with a witty pun: “I’ve got some goop for that.”

“Now I know what to send for a wedding present,” read actor Ethan Hawke‘s comment. “Also, you don’t have to work this hard to have an excuse to show off your tush! I thought it was inappropriate — my wife said, ‘I love it!’ Hmmmm.” LOL, needless to say, the replies had us dying.

Even his new bride, 29, commented on the ~saucy~ snap — with three fire emojis, of course. We assume the comment was meant in both the sunburn sense and the sexy sense.

Chris and Katherine got married on June 8, at San Ysidro Ranch in front of their friends and family, according to Us Weekly. Prior to tying the knot, the couple was engaged for about six months — which isn’t long at all, but needless to say, they felt ready for the next step. And the next one, because the couple is aching to have children.

“They’ve had babies on the brain for months, but Katherine didn’t want to be ‘a pregnant bride.’ Now that the wedding is out of the way, they’re already trying for a baby,” an insider told Life & Style exclusively. “They didn’t wait around to get married, and Chris and Katherine are just as eager to start a family.”

When there are kids in the mix, we trust Chris will remember the sunscreen. Feel better, dude!
