How sweet! When Katherine Schwarzenegger tied the knot with Chris Pratt on Saturday, June 8, she used her mom Maria Shriver’s wedding veil as her “something borrowed.” Considering how close these two are, we’re sure this was extra special.

The author’s tulle veil was worn by her mom in 1986 when she married Arnold Schwarzenegger. The 29-year-old made sure to put her amazing sense of style on display on her big day. She had two gowns — a lace gown as her first look and a silky dress as her second ensemble — both were custom Armani Privé.

The newlyweds each took to social media to announce the happy news the following day. “Yesterday was the best day of our lives! ” she began her Instagram post. “We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us, and grateful to Mr Giorgio Armani, who created a once in a lifetime dress for me to wear, and for Chris, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.”

Although the couple just got married, they won’t be wasting any time starting a family, according to a source who spoke exclusively to Life & Style. “They’ve had babies on the brain for months, but Katherine didn’t want to be ‘a pregnant bride.’ Now that the wedding is out of the way, they’re already trying for a baby,” the insider revealed. “They didn’t wait around to get married, and Chris and Katherine are just as eager to start a family.”

There may be a 10-year age gap between Katherine and her hubby, 39, but fortunately, they both share the same mindset. “While she’s only 29 years old, Katherine doesn’t see the point in waiting around and wants to have at least four kids,” the source added. “She made her feelings clear to Chris from the get-go and he’s completely onboard too. They’re both very family orientated people are can’t wait to have mini-mes running around the house.”

We can’t wait!
