What a surprise! Taylor Swift took to Instagram Live on Thursday, June 13, to confirm several fan theories about her upcoming album — including its name! As many fans speculated, it’s going to be called Lover (which was foreshadowed by a huge neon sign in her “ME!” music video) and its release date will be on August 23, 2019. And yes, 8+2+3 = 13, Taylor’s famously favorite number. Plus she gave fans a glimpse at the cover, which continues her dreamy aesthetic as she sits among pastel-colored clouds.

But that’s not all! Taylor also revealed that she has a new song called “You Need to Calm Down” coming out at midnight on June 14. Plus, the single will get its own music video just three days later on the 17th on Good Morning America. She said she wanted to wait a little while to release the video because it’s “very worth the wait … [there’s] a lot going on [in it.]” We can’t wait to find out what that means!

The announcements didn’t stop there. She also admitted that the album will have a whopping 18 tracks on it, and she gave fans an idea of what to expect in those tracks. “This album, in tone, it’s very romantic,” she said. “You can find romance in loneliness or sadness or going through a conflict, dealing with things in your life.” She will also be dropping four deluxe editions at Target, which she says feature “all completely unique content.”

On top of all that, she also mentioned she would be collaborating with designer Stella McCartney. Yowza! One thing she didn’t address? Fans’ theories that there will be a collab with former nemesis Katy Perry on the album. Katy sparked those rumors one day earlier when she tagged Taylor in a photo of a plate of cookies that said “Peace at last” on it. Guess there are still more surprises in store, and we can’t wait to learn them all!
