The wait is over! Taylor Swift has been teasing a huge announcement and fans had all sorts of theories about what it was going to be. Luckily, the pop star finally shared the big news about her latest venture on April 26 and Swifties, it’s time to rejoice because she has officially dropped a fiery new music video for her jam called “ME!”  featuring Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie. Watch the video here!

Ahead of her new song release, the 29-year-old songstress made an appearance at The Gulch in Nashville, greeting hundreds of adoring fans in the crowd. Taylor got in the spirit by taking a tour of the city, which happens to be the place where all of her dreams came true. She was overcome with emotions after visiting her high school, Bluebird cafe, Sony music publishing and more.

So what’s the inspiration for her new single? Taylor said the song is about “embracing your individuality and really owning it.” She explained, “with a pop song, we have the ability to get a melody stuck in people’s heads and I just want it to be one that makes them feel better about themselves.” Swifties have been patiently waiting for her follow-up album to Reputation, which she dropped in 2017, and much to the delight of fans, we now have a new song and music video to enjoy!

Before spilling the tea, Taylor posed for photos in front of a butterfly mural, created by interactive street artist Kelsey Montague and she also took to Instagram Stories to give fans more clues.

“OK so we’ve commissioned this butterfly mural to be painted on a wall in Nashville and put clues about the song and the new music in the mural,” Taylor said. “So I’m going to go show up. The butterfly mural is painted by Kelsey Montague who painted one of my favorite murals in New York.”

Taylor took to Instagram on April 25 and revealed that she thrilled about collaborating with the “extraordinarily talented and awesome” Brendon and we see why! BRB, just hitting that repeat button.
