Chrissy Teigen Was Just Joking About Having Extensive Plastic Surgery
She was just joking — sort of.
Chrissy Teigen shocked fans when she got candid about her plastic surgery procedures — and seemingly revealed that she has undergone extensive work! But she was just kidding and she took to Twitter to open up about the lesson she learned after she took her joke a little too far.

“Reminder to never ever joke, ever (I did do the armpits, no regrets except it clearly came back),” the 31-year-old wrote. “You think I'd have this ass if I'd done extensive work? Like who would ask for this ass.”

She was forced to speak out on the plastic surgery rumors after she accidentally started them herself. In an interview with Allure to promote her new Becca X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette, she joked about going under the knife with her makeup artist Mary Phillips.
“Everything else is fake, but my cheeks are real,” Chrissy told Allure. “Women are like, ‘those fake-ass cheeks,’ and I'm like, ‘No! This is my real face.’ I'm very open with all that other shit, but I think Mary's always been so wonderful with making everything look so, so natural.”

Even though she hasn’t had actual plastic surgery done, Chrissy did confess To getting other procedures done. She’s shaved down her a tooth and gotten Botox injections to help ease the tension in her jaw from keeping it clenched and grinding down her teeth. The mom-of-one also opened up about the one area of her body that is a major source of insecurity for her.
“Maybe nine years ago, [I had] my armpit sucked out which was one of the best things I've done,” she said. “It's a big secret, but I don't care. And it added two inches to my arms. It made me feel better in strapless dresses, and I felt more confident.”
