Chrissy Teigen’s Dad Got Her Face Tattooed On His Arm For Her 33rd Birthday And We’re Living For It
Umm, we think Chrissy Teigen’s dad wins the award for coolest dad, ever. On Dec. 10, Chrissy Teigen revealed that her father, Ron Teigen Sr., got a tattoo of the model on his arm for her 33rd birthday. That is some present! She captioned the photo, “My dad got a tattoo of me for my birthday. By the incredible @markmahoney_ssc.”
Chrissy’s birthday was on Nov. 30, so while we aren’t sure of the exact date her dad got inked, it still is an amazing surprise. Fans quickly responded to her photo, and well, they were shocked. One wrote, “I don’t think my dad likes me this much…,” while another commented, “Damn @johnlegend how are you going to top that?” Even Kim Kardashian was speechless, writing, “OMG.”
It looks like her dad had the exact picture he wanted to use taped to his arm, so that the tattoo artist could get it just right. Mark Mahoney is an influential and well-known tattoo artist among celebrities. His clients include David Beckham, Adele, Angelina Jolie, and Rihanna, just to name a few, so it sounds like Ron was in good hands.
While Chrissy’s followers know her mom, Vilailuck, really well via social media, her dad has remained a little bit more of a mystery. Chrissy’s mom lives with her, however, her father does not. Ron lives just 10 minutes away from the couple. Chrissy spoke with Us Weekly about her interesting family dynamic. “So my mom lives with us. Everybody is like, ‘Where’s your dad?’ He comes by every day and they’re married. It just works for them. It’s a good family life. We’re all very close, very tight-knit.”
While Ron might be a little bit more serious than the cookbook author, both of her parents have always supported her. “My dad tried to wrangle me in when I was younger, but there are things I do now that I’m sure they could easily be like, ‘Chrissy, we don’t approve of this,'” she told People magazine. “But they’ve always been very supportive of how crazy and kooky I am!” Aw.
But wait, Chrissy has a sister too! So, Ron, are you planning on getting another tattoo on your other arm, or what?!
