Clint Harp Says Chip and Joanna Gaines Are Welcome on His New Show “Anytime” (EXCLUSIVE)

Turns out Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines are just as good at fixing up careers as they are houses.

Furniture designer Clint Harp and his wife, Kelly, were struggling financially when Clint first approached Chip at a gas station in 2012. A few years and a few guest appearances on Fixer Upper later, the Harps have their own show, Wood Work, premiering May 9 on DIY.

“I thank [Chip and Joanna] in all the different ways that I possibly can,” Clint, 40, exclusively tells Life & Style. “They didn’t have to use me [on Fixer Upper]. They obviously changed things greatly for us.” Clint says the Wood Work pilot was in development for three years before it became a reality for the parents of three from Waco, Texas.

Now that it’s on the air, they’d be thrilled to return the favor. “Chip and Joanna are welcome on my show anytime they want,” Clint says. “That’s a given.”
