Not so fast. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub had plans to marry her new boyfriend, Oliver Maier, on March 4 in NYC, but the serial dater has now actually postponed her nuptials, according to Us Weekly, and for a pretty good reason.

“Danielle’s daughters haven’t met him yet,” an insider revealed. “After today she realized she wants to bring her kids into the process more. The wedding has been postponed. Her daughters were surprised because everything happened so fast.” The 56-year-old has two daughters, Jillian and Christine, with her second husband, Thomas Staub. A rep for Danielle declined Life & Style‘s request for comment at this time.

An insider also revealed the Housewife has only been seeing the businessman for “about six weeks,” but clearly she’s feeling good about moving on from her ex-husband Marty Caffrey less than two weeks after finalizing their divorce.

“I am really looking forward to making a new life for myself with Oliver and putting my life on a positive and productive path,” Danielle told the outlet. “This is a new beginning for me and I am excited to see all that it brings.” Can it really be a new beginning, though, when this is your 21st engagement? Seems like the same old thing to us.

Interestingly enough, it seems as though her new relationship came at lightning speed, not only because she’s been known to move on fast, but also because she and her new beau have a mutual connection. As Life & Style previously reported, Danielle’s man is actually her best friend’s ex-boyfriend — and her RHONJ costar Margaret Josephs wasted no time throwing shade.

In a response to some fan shade over the way both Danielle and Margaret, 51, handled the demise of their relationships while starting new ones, Marg got candid about exactly how tangled her frenemy’s love life web really is. “She’s sleeping with one of her best friends’ boyfriends she knows for one week, true love for sure!” she tweeted on February 25.

Though it doesn’t seem like everyone is in favor of Danielle’s new relationship, we, of course, hope that this time is the charm for the RHONJ mama. It’s hard finding love out there in these streets — nevermind keeping it.
