Ever wonder how Kate Middleton looks so chic all of the time? Well, she has a secret weapon, and her name is Natasha Archer. She has been working for Kate since 2007 and in 2014, she became her official style advisor. There were rumors going around that Natasha had recently quit, but Life & Style has learned that she is just on maternity leave.

“Natasha only gave birth over a week ago. She’s on maternity leave and hasn’t handed in her notice,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. Natasha’s husband, Chris Jackson, also plays an important role within the royal family. “As the official royal photographer, her husband, Chris, is often traveling with William, Harry, or other family members so, Natasha wants to be at home with their baby boy, Theo,” the source continued. We don’t blame her!

So, when can the Duchess of Cambridge expect her stylist to return? It seems like it may be quite some time, unfortunately. “She’ll be off for at least six months. Natasha and Chris have become very close to the royals over the years, especially the younger generation,” the insider spilled.

Even though there’s been speculation that Kate and Natasha were not getting along, the source insists that the two are solid. “There isn’t any kind of rift between Kate and Natasha,” the source said.

Chris and Natasha recently welcomed their newborn baby on Dec. 19. The photographer took to Instagram to share a couple of new photos of his family and he even shared one of Natasha holding Theo. He captioned the sweet snap, “Could not be more proud of these two!! Absolute legends — I think this may be the best photo I’ve ever taken! Great to be home.”

Prince William and Kate sort of introduced Chris and Natasha to each other, since they both met at work. Well, we can’t wait to see all their little babies playing together in the future! Plenty of photo opportunities for Chris to document.
