Derick Dillard Gets Dragged After Jill Duggar Reveals He’s Back to Work
ICYMI, Twitter is Derick Dillard's ultimate love. Like, honestly, we're pretty sure he's more obsessed with the social media platform than Jill Duggar. The former Counting On star — who was fired from the hit show in November — was MIA from his wife's most recent Instagram post, and she claimed it was because he was working. Unfortunately for the 29-year-old, people began dragging him in the comments almost immediately, and one even asked, "Is he working at Twitter?" LOL. Watch the video below to see the snap — and to find out what other people are saying!
Back in February, it was reported that the father-of-two went back to work after being unemployed for a few months. At the time, he took to Instagram on to let it be known that he was hired to drive students around during a weekend of worshipping at the Student Leadership University’s Lift Tour 2018. Of course, that wasn't exactly a full-time gig — which is why many people are wondering WTF he's doing now.
TLC gave Derick the ax after he posted a series of transphobic remarks about I Am Jazz star Jazz Jennings. "What an oxymoron… a 'reality' show which follows a non-reality," Derick tweeted in August. "'Transgender' is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it's ordained by God."
That following November, Derick doubled down on his transphobic views by misgendering Jazz and expressing "pity" for her. Since then, he's taken aim at Nate & Jeremiah by Design stars Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, calling their family a "travesty." Most recently, however, he went after the cast of the new series Lost in Transition. "I really hope this is a series showing the devastation that mental illness causes, rather than presuming that these challenges are simply evidences of an improving society. #optimism." Ugh.
Moral of the story? His so-called "work" is still a mystery. Also, he's awful. Did we mention he's awful?
