Keanu Reeves Is Dating Longtime Friend Alexandra Grant

While Keanu Reeves and his business partner Alexandra Grant have kept things strictly platonic for over a decade, Life & Style can exclusively reveal the A-list pair are now dating. “Friends are convinced that Keanu and Alexandra’s friendship has turned romantic,” an insider reveals. “Everyone is ecstatic that he’s finally found happiness with such a wonderful woman. Keanu doesn’t stop raving about her!”

The John Wick actor, 55, and the artist made their red carpet debut as a couple at the LACMA Art and Film Gala in L.A. on Saturday, November 2. Prior to Keanu and Alexandra’s big night out, the lovebirds were spotted getting cozy while grabbing sushi in West Hollywood on October 18. “It looked like they were on a date,” a source revealed at the time. Though Keanu has kept his romance with Alexandra fairly private, the Speed alum has had a handful of high-profile relationships in the past.

In the mid-’80s, Keanu dated his Babes in Toyland costar Jill Schoelen. After their split, the Lebanon-born star had a relationship with filmmaker Sofia Coppola in the early ‘90s. Keanu’s most notable relationship, however, was with Jennifer Syme, who worked as an assistant to legendary rocker Dave Navarro.

Unfortunately, their courtship ended tragically. In 1999, Jennifer gave birth to the pair’s daughter, Ava, but she was stillborn. Keanu and Jennifer went their separate ways shortly after. She later passed away in a 2001 car accident.

“Keanu was so traumatized by her death that there were times when he couldn’t get out of bed in the morning,” the insider explains, adding that “everything changed” after Alexandra came into his life.
