Donna Kelce Stuns Kylie Kelce Will Latest Admission on New Podcast Episode
As an NFL wife and mom to four daughters, Kylie Kelce is used to surprises—but her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce, still managed to leave her absolutely floored.
On Nov. 5, Donna appeared on Kylie’s podcast, “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce,” and dropped a revelation that had both fans and Kylie doing a double take.
“I did learn how to be a pilot before I had children,” Donna casually revealed.
Kylie, wide-eyed, could barely process it. “No you did not,” she said.
“Yes, I did,” Donna confirmed, without missing a beat.
Donna explained that her time in the cockpit wasn’t just a one-off experience. “I actually went up and flew a plane,” she said matter-of-factly. But while flying gave her a thrill, family ultimately came first.
“I did [enjoy it], but you want to have children,” she added. “And it was really expensive so I had to stop. Ed [Kelce] and I decided, well, we should probably get a house and start having kids.”
Kylie sat jaw-dropped as Donna reflected on that pre-mom chapter of her life. “So I did this way before the kids were even born,” Donna said, smiling.
“That is so cool!” Kylie gushed, immediately wondering, “Does Jason [Kelce] know that?”
Donna wasn’t sure. “I don’t know if he knows it or not — I don’t know if I’ve ever really brought it up,” she laughed.
Kylie couldn’t resist pointing out the exclusivity of the moment: “But you saved it for this right now. Not the other podcast.”
She was, of course, referring to New Heights, the hit show hosted by her husband Jason Kelce and brother-in-law Travis Kelce. Fans quickly realized just how wild it was that Jason and Travis might have gone their entire lives unaware that their mom once flew a plane.
“How could you have raised two boys and never told them you FLEW A PLANE?” one fan asked, while others called Donna “a total badass” and praised her for “moving up the list of amazing women.”
The timing of the reveal also didn’t go unnoticed. “It’s sweet she saved it for her daughter-in-law’s podcast — that’s a true family!” one fan wrote, while another teased, “NOT THE OTHER PODCAST! You know who’s the fave.”
