OK, we’re definitely in our feelings right now! For those of you who live under a rock, a very-detailed Twitter thread surfaced on Aug. 31 that convinced the entire Internet that Kim Kardashian and Drake had an affair. We won’t bore you with the nitty-gritty details, but basically, the user speculated that Kim — who sometimes goes by the nickname “Kiki” — is actually the “Kiki” from Drake’s hit song “In My Feelings.”

Naturally, Kim got wind of the rumor and by Sep. 3, she shut it down. “Never happened. End of story,” the mother-of-three commented on a video posted to The Shade Room. No less than two hours later, Drake, too, took to social media. However, instead of following in Kim’s lead and clearing the air, he decided to confuse things even more by following Kim on Instagram. Gasp.

That’s right, y’all. It looks like Mr. Champagne Papi himself is all about stirring the pot. That said, according to TMZ, there’s no sense in reading too much into Drake’s sly social media move. “We’re told the two do have some mutual friends and are cordial when they have run into each other at events in the past, but they’ve never had a personal friendship or relationship,” the publication revealed.

Sigh. We knew it was too juicy to be true. After all, Kim is hardly the first woman fans have speculated to be the inspiration behind some of Drake’s more salacious lyrics. In fact, back in June, Bella Hadid was also forced to shut down rumors that she and the rapper slept together. “Not me!!! That’s disrespectful. WHY CAN’T PPL [sic] BE FRIENDS W/o [sic] all the insinuation,” the 21-year-old wrote on Twitter at the time.

As of now, it looks like Drake is still single and ready mingle… hopefully, with women who aren’t already married and or dating fellow people in the music industry.
