Just when you thought we reached peak drama with Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, and Nicki Minaj‘s never-ending feud, Tyga decides to credit for his ex’s success. The rapper clearly felt the need to stay relevant and made the shady move to go on Nicki’s Queen Radio.

“She always had a platform and she was always destined to be what she was going to be regardless, but when I stepped in, there was a lot of codes being taught,” Tyga said. “It was like, you could do this, you should start this, you should start doing your hair like this.”

Oh yeah, and he even claimed that he had a hand in Kylie’s Lip Kits. “I don’t need to go online and tell people I did this and I’m the one helping her coming up with these colors and names on her… lip line. It was a lot of stuff.”

Needless to say, the Internet has a lot of thoughts, and unfortunately for Tyga, they aren’t exactly in his favor. “Tyga knows how to build Kylie’s career but not his own? Lol yeah ok Mr. Rack City go get your car out of the repo,” one person wrote on Twitter. Another user added, “Something about this interview with him trying to take responsibility for her success along with the fact that she was a child when they started dating tells me a lot more about Tyga and Nicki than Kylie.” And a third agreed, writing, “Tyga said he made Kylie… I don’t know if that lowkey makes him look weird… she was a minor bro… a minor.” 

ICYMI, Nicki posted a series of tweets on Aug. 19 claiming Kylie is the only reason Travis’ album is currently topping the charts. The “Chun-Li” rapper took to the social media platform to slam the 26-year-old, whose new album, “Astroworld,” reached number one on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

“I put my blood sweat & tears in writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & Stormi. lol,” she wrote. “I’m actually laughing. #Queen broke the record of being number 1 in 86 countries. Thank Jesus & thank you to my fans.” 

Although she later claimed she “f–king loves Kylie,” you can see why the new mama is probably a little peeved. And apparently, no one is responsible for their own success.
