Anti-bullying activist Lizzie Velasquez has a major reason to celebrate — her new documentary “A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story” premieres today on ‘SXSW!’

Lizzie has come a long way after sadly discovering a You Tube video referring to herself as “The World’s Ugliest Women” at the tender young age of 17.

Viewers of the video left heartbreaking comments such as, “why would they keep her?!” and “kill it with fire.”

Though she cried for many nights, Velasquez was determined to stay positive and do something good with all the negative attention that she was receiving.

After creating a You Tube channel of her own, she started posting positive videos encouraging others to be confident just as she was about herself.

The message is definitely getting out there as the 26-year-old has over 300,000 subscribers!
