Honesty hour! Farrah Abraham’s mom, Debra Danielsen, took to Instagram on Wednesday, June 26, to respond to a fan who questioned her parenting of the longtime reality star, 28. Scroll through the gallery below to see Debra’s thoughtful reply.
“Honest question: Does it make you feel like you failed as a mom knowing Farrah is selling her body in foreign lands for money?” the user began. “I don’t think it’s your fault, but I can’t imagine if my daughter chose this as a profession.”

“I wish she could realize money is not that important in the grand scheme of things,” they continued. “[Neither] is being famous or relevant. I wish she would realize this and turn her life around. If not for her, for her daughter.”

Whereas a lot of people would choose to ignore that kind of inquiry, Debra, 61, decided to address it head on. “Not at all,” she said.

“God gave us each free will. I don’t do anything but what God puts in my heart,” she continued. “Love, empathy and wisdom are very important in life.”

Well said, Deb! We couldn’t agree more. Unsurprisingly, so did a lot of other people — all of whom jumped in to defend the proud mama and her daughter.

“Sex work is real work and shaming people for it is gross. You should worry about your judgmental attitude and focus on your own life. If Farrah’s work bothers you, then don’t follow her life. There are plenty of other people and things to focus on,” one user commented.

“What Farrah does with her life doesn’t mean her mother failed as a parent. What a lot of people fail to realize is there comes a point in your children’s lives where they start making their own decisions — whether it be good or bad that doesn’t define you as a parent. As a parent, you did your part in raising them to respect good morals, hard worker, etc. As they become adults, it’s up to them to take those values and move forward,” added another.

Despite the backlash toward the individual who posed the question, they ended up thanking Debra for her reply. “Thank you. Great answer. I am glad you feel that way. Keep up the good work with Sophia,” they wrote referring to Farrah’s 10-year-old daughter.

“You are making wonderful memories and giving her the normalcy she needs. BRAVA!” they concluded. Hmmm, suggesting that Sophia needs “normalcy” is still pretty insulting, but hey! That’s the internet for you.

As it happens, Farrah is doing A-OK these days. In fact, she’s better than ever! “I love my body. Like, I am the healthiest I have ever been,” she told Life & Style at New York’s Hemp Garden for the launch of MASK, a CBD beauty mask, on Thursday, April 25, adding, “I am the happiest.”

“I am not so fit like I was last year. I am more feminine now. So, I have been enjoying it, I really have been,” the Ex on The Beach alum continued.

“Keep going higher and push yourself,” Farrah continued. “Today is the day to keep it moving and we have a lot of positive stuff in 2019.”

Hear that, haters? No matter how much skin Farrah chooses to show, it’s clear that she’s living her very best life — physically, mentally and spiritually. Of course, there’s a *major* emphasis on the physical, though.

“There have been a lot of good new workouts. So, I am kind of like doing two-a-days, but [with] a different workout regimen,” Farrah explained of how she keeps in shape. “I always go HAM. It’s summer all year long for me.”

That’s very clear, girl! We’re happy to hear that both Farrah and Debra are doing well. As it stands, Farrah hasn’t replied to the person who questioned her mom’s parenting, but we can only assume that she doesn’t agree with the nonsense.
