‘American Idol’ Contestants Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner Were Involved in a Secret Romance (EXCLUSIVE)
Secret romance! American Idol winner Maddie Poppe and runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson revealed their romance to the world on the May 21 season finale — but Life & Style has learned they weren’t the only secret Idol couple.
Third-place finisher Gabby Barrett, 18, and top-five contender Cade Foehner, 21, have also fallen for each other. “They’re definitely an item,” an insider reveals to Life & Style. “They’re trying to keep it hush-hush, but they’re smitten. They’re always touching, smiling and flirting.”
Gabby and Cade were holding hands as far back as the top 14 party in April, another source notes. “They spent the entire party together,” the source says. “All season long, they were always finding each other as soon as one of them came on the stage.”
