Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Pack On The PDA At Her Halloween-Themed Birthday Bash
Happy Birthday, Gwen! On Oct. 3, Gwen Stefani took to Instagram to show off her Halloween-themed birthday party and let’s just say: It was spooktastic! The best part? She and her soon-to-be hubby, Blake Shelton, packed on the PDA like the adorable couple we know them to be. In addition to the couple’s (not so) private kissy moment, Blake also took to social media on Oct. 3 to share a sweet birthday message for his beloved. “Somehow it feels more like MY birthday every day… happy birthday, [Gwen Stefani]! I love you!” the country singer captioned the sexy photo of his lady. Ugh. Aren’t they just the sweetest? Of course, Gwen’s reply was just as cute. “I love you, [Blake Shelton]. Can’t believe I got [you],” the 49-year-old wrote.
For a couple who has yet to walk down the aisle, these two sure are living out their honeymoon phase. However, that wasn’t always the case! In fact, Blake thought Gwen was just a rebound from his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert. “I think if Gwen and I were being honest right now, talking about this,” Blake told NBC’s Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist, “I think in the back of our mind, that we both kind of thought, this is a rebound deal.”
When they first got together, Gwen was also coming off the heels of a split. After 14 years of marriage, the “Hollaback Girl” singer ended things with the father of her three children, Gavin Rossdale. “We were both coming out of a low spot in our lives, we were clinging to each other to get through this,” Blake continued.
“It’s a miracle that I met somebody that was going through the same exact thing that I was at the exact same moment in time,” the 42-year-old confessed. “But, here we are, going on three years later — and every day that goes by, it just feels like a stronger bond between the two of us.” Yup… here come the waterworks! We’re so happy them.
