Low-Key Swifty? Hailey Baldwin Got a ‘Lover’ Tattoo and We Have Questions
These celebs are always out here getting tattooed, but this one takes it to new heights, y’all. Hailey Baldwin just debuted her new “Lover” neck tattoo and fans are a little concerned that it might be a tribute to Taylor Swift and her new album — which, if you’re a fan of the model or her husband, Justin Bieber, you know would be a little weird with their recent feud.
The 22-year-old’s tattoo artist, Dr. Woo, posted a delicate photo of the new ink on September 3, captioning the pic simply, “Love always wins ✒️💓” Fans and followers couldn’t help but notice the similarities between the font the blonde babe chose and the font used for the 29-year-old’s album cover.
“Buy and stream Lover by Taylor Swift,” one fan wrote wittily, while another chimed in with, “Taylor Swift vibes!” But a lot of followers were interested by the choice of word and font, considering Hailey’s hubby, 25, and the pop star have been public about their recent problems with one another regarding Tay’s feud with Scooter Braun, Justin’s manager.
“Interesting choice since she came for our girl @taylorswift,” one fan commented, while another tagged a friend and wrote, “Her and Tay got beef cuz of Justin so naturally she gets her new, most popular song title tatted on her NECK LMAO of course.”
At the end of the day, it’s also just as likely that the model chose the word as a tribute to her husband, with whom she’s gearing up to celebrate her one-year anniversary. The couple tied the knot last year in a sweet and secret ceremony in NYC, which they confirmed to a fan the following month.
According to reports, the dynamic duo is also planning to do something really special for their first marriage milestone. They plan on getting married for a second time — in front of friends and family this time — in a religious ceremony in South Carolina. Needless to say, we can’t wait.
