Whoa, baby! Hilary Duff‘s fiancé, Matthew Koma, admitted that he started a silly fight with his soon-to-be wife. To apologize, he gave her a very NSFW gift that will make you laugh so hard. After their rift, the musician shockingly presented the actress with a dildo … in a pizza box … as a peace offering. The couple announced their engagement on May 9 and clearly already have this long-term relationship thing down.

“Sometimes it’s pizza night and you start an unnecessary argument and owe your significant other an apology,” Matthew, 32, captioned a photo on Instagram on Monday, May 24, and tagged the Younger star, 31. The snap showed an open pizza box (grease stains and all) with “Sorry I was a” written in black permanent marker. Below the writing laid a large dildo — which was apparently exactly what the singer felt like.

Comments came rushing in over the epic apology. “Is this apology large enough though?” one person joked. Someone else wrote, “This is great! She couldn’t be mad at you after that gesture.” Another follower added, “You had me at pizza night.” We’re hoping things are smoothed over between the A-listers by now. There’s really not much you can say back after that.

The duo shares their 7-month-old daughter, Banks. Hilary also has a 7-year-old son, Luca, with her ex-husband Mike Comrie. They seem over-the-moon excited about the next chapter of their lives and the actress never misses a chance to swoon over her hunky man. “You are the most natural papa bear I’ve seen,” Hilary wrote on Instagram about Matthew for Father’s Day. “You always put us first. You know exactly what to say. Affectionate beyond. Calm and strong. The kids don’t even know how lucky they are that it’s you … but they will. It’s a gift I get to witness every day. We love you more than words.”

Their relationship sounds so strong. There’s nothing that a surprise pizza box can’t fix, right?
