It wasn’t long before the singer admitted she was in love. While performing at Citi Field in August 2017, Gaga told Page Six, “When I went backstage, Christian was by the stairs making sure I was OK. The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall.”

Us reported in November 2017 that the couple got engaged over summer 2017 after Christian asked the singer’s father, Joe Germanotta, for his blessing.
The couple kept their relationship a bit more private after that. Then, in January 2018, Carino shared a video of Gaga ziplining. “The Super Bowl jump was only a warmup. Simply fearless,” he wrote.
