A Fiancé Is Born! Lady Gaga Confirms Her Engagement To Christian Carino
Congratulations are in order. Lady Gaga confirmed her engagement to Christian Carino on Oct. 25 while delivering a moving speech at Elle‘s 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration. According to People, the A Star Is Born actress finally referred to her longtime boyfriend as her “fiancé.” How exciting!
Back in April, a source close to the pair revealed exclusively to Life & Style that Gaga and Christian are planning on getting married in Italy. “It will be an over-the-top affair combined with classic Italian traditions,” the source said. “Gaga’s parents, Joe and Cynthia Germanotta, are helping them create an Italian-inspired menu,” and Gaga is “talking to Donatella Versace about making her a custom wedding dress,’ the source added. “Gaga has never been happier.”
ICYMI: The two have been together since February 2017 after they were spotted canoodling at a Kings of Leon concert. However, Gaga and Christian have flown mostly under the radar ever since — save for a few public outings. Just before the “Million Reasons” singer performed at the 2017 Super Bowl, the pair was seen getting cuddly on the field. Other than that, Christian and Gaga are rarely photographed together.
Additionally, Gaga gushed over her man back in August during her Joanne World Tour stop in NYC. “When I went backstage, Christian was by the stairs making sure I was okay,” the 32-year-old told Page Six at the time. “The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall.” We’re so happy to see that Gaga has found love again! After all, the pop star went through a very public A-list breakup in 2016 with her then-fiancé, Taylor Kinney.
Speaking of A-listers, while Christian isn’t an actor like Gaga’s former flame, he is very well-versed in Hollywood. He works as a talent agent with a number of heavy-hitting clients including Justin Bieber, Amber Heard, Christina Aguilera, Simon Cowell, Miley Cyrus, and Jennifer Lopez. Hmmm, not too shabby! We wish them both all the happiness in the world. Let the countdown to their walk down the aisle begin.
