It’s not every day you see celebs like Jennifer Lawrence and Adele getting their party on at a packed gay bar, y’all! The celeb pals were spotted having the time of their lives at Pieces bar in NYC while watching a drag show on March 22 and the photos are seriously so adorable. Eye witness Ben Lebowitz, who was also taking in the show at Pieces, shared exclusive details about exactly what went down once the room noticed the famous friends — and you know these ladies brought down the house! “So, Pieces is a historic gay bar in Greenwich Village. It’s not the kind of place celebrities go and there’s a drag show every night,” Ben explained. “I saw Jennifer Lawrence but it didn’t register with me who she was to start off with. I then realized she was the actress from Hunger Games. She was with another woman and a guy and then I’d say 20 minutes go by and we got closer to the table and then in walks Adele! As if a God came down!!”

“Apparently they went to that bar to see the drag queen, Brita Filter, ” he continued. “She was really cool about it and not making a point that they were in the audience. And when I say the audience, I mean 1000sq ft area.”

A Packed House

“She did a couple of performances and Adele was tipping $50 bills,” he revealed. “I mean, Brita probably had her rent twice paid over because she made so much.” We stan a generous woman!

But it didn’t stop there, y’all. “They always play games and they call people up from the audience and sometimes get people to do fake runway walks and that kind of thing and the audience claps,” he continued. “They ask your name and when they called Adele up everyone went crazy because there was acknowledgement she was there. I got up on a table to take pictures. All my friends thought I was crazy. Brita then said ‘What’s your name?” and she said ‘Adele’ and I’ve never heard people scream that loud before. The whole bar was shaking.

“Jen and Adele then left shortly before the show ended,” he said. “They told Brita that she was the best and that’s why they were coming to see her.” So cute.

So Much Fun

“I couldn’t believe Jennifer and Adele were there,” Ben gushed about the 28 and 30-year-old stars respectively. “They were so friendly to everyone! I’ve lived in NYC for over 10 years and that was the best night that’s ever happened to me.” We can only imagine.
