This Momager Does It All! Kris Jenner May Be Helping Jennifer Lawrence Plan Her Wedding
As if Kris Jenner doesn’t already have enough on her hands, it looks like she may be taking up another task — planning Jennifer Lawrence’s wedding to Cooke Maroney, according to a source who exclusively spoke to Life & Style. TBH, Kris does no wrong, so we can expect this to be nothing short of spectacular.
“She’s been tight with Kris for years, and she’s helping her with ideas on the venue, fashion, guest list and even her bridal party,” said the insider. “It’s no secret Jen is in serious awe of the entire family, not just Kris, and she’s hoping that by getting closer to Kris, it will help her forge friendships with the rest of the klan.”
The actress, 28, has been the biggest Kardashian fan forever, so this is going to be extra special. Let’s not forget the time she stepped in for Jimmy Kimmel on his show over a year ago and interviewed Kim Kardashian while basically fangirling the whole time.
However, while she may love the famous family, her style is very different. The reality stars are known for glam and going all out in everything they do, while the Hollywood star has more simple tastes. Based on anything Kris, 62, has ever worked on — whether it’s a wedding or a party — the mother-of-six always makes sure it’s huge, but that’s why Jen’s fiancé’s touch will be a perfect balance.
“Now that they’re getting involved there’s no way Jen’s ceremony will be subtle or small … but thanks to Cooke’s low-key nature it should still be somewhat classy,” added the source.
The future newlyweds got engaged recently after eight months of dating. Things see to be going really well for the couple, and her friends even agree. “Jen’s friends approve. Her bestie Laura Simpson is the one who introduced her to Cooke, but pals like Emma Stone, Brie Larson, and Amy Schumer are all madly in love with him too,” a source previously told Life & Style. “They all absolutely knew about Jen’s engagement and kept it a secret until she was ready to come clean with the news herself.”
