Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney Are Engaged: She’s Sporting a ‘Massive Ring’
Congratulations are in order! Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to her boyfriend of eight months, Cooke Maroney. The couple was recently spotted together enjoying a romantic dinner at Raoul’s restaurant in New York City and onlookers noticed she was sporting a “massive ring.”
Jennifer’s rep confirmed to E! News that she accepted his proposal. Fans have been speculating Cooke, 34, popped the question after spotting her new bling. “It was a giant rock,” a source told PageSix. “They seemed like they were celebrating at [Raoul’s]. The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots.”
The Hunger Games star, 28, was first romantically linked to the art gallery director back in June 2018 and they were reportedly introduced by one of Jennifer’s pals, Laura Simpson. The pair has since enjoyed traveling to Europe, attending a New York Rangers game and more.
The award-winning actress previously dated director Darren Aronofsky, but they called it quits in November of 2017. “I am not in a relationship. I am making it clear that I have not had sex in a very long time,” Jennifer said during a February 2018 interview with Howard Stern. “I would like to have a relationship, you know — it’s hard out there!” Prior to that, Jennifer dated Nicolas Holt for five years.
Last year, Jennifer revealed how she’s still cool with all of her exes. It’s “because I’m blunt,” she said while appearing on Marc Maron’s podcast last February. “I don’t think you can have any sort of bad relationship with anybody if you’re blunt.” It looks like everything worked out for the best, now that she has found Cooke!
