Jennifer Lawrence And Boyfriend Cooke Maroney Are ‘In It For The Long Haul’
Ooh, la la! It looks like Jennifer Lawrence and her handsome boyfriend, Cooke Maroney, are more than just a casual fling. According to Us Weekly, in fact, “things between them are very serious.” While the actress, 28, and art gallerist, 33, have only been together since May, a source revealed to the publication that “they definitely appear to be in it for the long haul.”
The long haul, indeed! An additional insider previously revealed to In Touch magazine that the lovebirds are already thinking about marriage. “Jennifer is making plans for their future,” the insider gushed. “She wants a big outdoor wedding and a big house with a stable and horses. She’s ready to settle down.”
A proposal is apparently coming, but Cooke is keeping mum. “He told her it will be when she least expects it, and not to hint about what kind of engagement ring she wants because he wants to take care of it himself,” the insider said. “He’ll only say she won’t be disappointed.” Fortunately, Jennifer is totally fine with being kept in the dark. “She loves that Cooke is a take-charge kind of guy and that he doesn’t treat her like a star. She’s finally found her Prince Charming!” How sweet is that?
Now not to be blunt, but one question remains: Who the heck is this guy? After all, Jennifer has typically dated men in the public eye. Ahem, Darren Aronofsky, Chris Martin, and Nicholas Hoult. Well, as it happens, Cooke is just as impressive as Jen’s previous Hollywood beaus. The NYU alum works as a director at Gladstone 64 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Not too shabby, huh?
Here’s hoping that this unlikely duo really does go the distance. Who knows, maybe J. Law can join her BFF Amy Schumer and have a baby of her own. You know what they say… first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage.
