Like most of Bachelor Nation, we have a small crush on Chris Harrison. The 45-year-old has been hosting the reality dating franchise since it premiered in 2002 — and we took Internet creeping to a whole new level to prepare for our imaginary first date with the blue-eyed TV personality.
Along the way, we got an update on his current relationship status, plus discovered he's a self-proclaimed "hopeless romantic." Sigh.
"I would love to find love now," he told the Daily Beast. "Look, as you can tell by the book and by the show, I'm a hopeless, helpless romantic just like everybody else, so hopefully I'll follow my own advice one day." Here's what you need to know to get a rose from the host with the most!
Is Chris Harrison married?
No. The Bachelor veteran was previously married to his high school sweetheart Gwen, but the couple divorced in 2012 after 18 years of marriage. They share two kids, son Joshua and daughter Taylor, and remain friends. "I'm doing great and so is Gwen," Chris said at the time. "I'm very proud of the fact that we've done it well. We're the best of friends." So does this mean that Chris would be open to starring on the reality dating competition?
Probably not, but that doesn't mean he's not looking. "I still, and maybe more than ever, believe in the search and what everybody is doing on the show because I’ve been there and I lived that life,” Chris said according to People magazine. “I’ve loved deeply with [my] whole heart and know how great it can be. I will hopefully fall in love and find that again.”
Is Chris Harrison Gay?
Yes, a lot of people are actually up in the air about the host's sexuality. While he's never explicitly come out to address these rumors… we're pretty sure it's safe to say that he's straight. But hey, anything's possible in Bachelor Nation.
Who is Chris Harrison dating?
Since his divorce, Chris has been linked to several contestants from The Bachelor including former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman. “Distance makes the heart grow fonder and the whine flow stronger when it comes to @chrisbharrison” Andi captioned a photo of the smiling pair, which quickly sparked dating rumors. However, they never confirmed or denied the reports.

Chris was also spotted in Houston with former contestant AshLee Frazier last year, and Reality Steve claimed they were more than just friends. "I just know they spent three days together this past weekend in Houston and, well, usually you don’t spend a weekend with someone you aren’t interested in," he wrote. "I’m very proficient when it comes to math and I know what 2 + 2 is, so, I think it’s safe to say I can kinda see what’s going on here. But who knows?”
AshLee also gushed about Chris, telling In Touch, "He’s a good-looking guy and super nice!" Hands off!
